Default AEM V2 for 94-97 accord

ok first off does anyone have one, if so how much different is it from the orginal setup...cuz like AEM states that its only for the manual cuz the auto tranny gets in the way but it seems like it doesnt even go near the tranny like the Civic's and Teg's do so what gives for the diff? is the new V2 routed differently now than the original?

uh, no, the v2 is the new "sonic" intake from AEM. it is not a short ram. it has kind of adual chamber design and bulges in the middle. that bulge could cause some clearance issues. Has anyone tried this on a H22?

they said the clearance issue was cuz of the tranny...the intake goes no where near the tranny on the accord.

for the less than 1hp you'll gain over a traditional CAI, it's far from worth it. Get a generic CAI, and make a few adjustments (a real K&N filter for example, and if you like, some better silicon connectors). There are other options, but not getting into them right now, I'm tired..

I will stick to the ghetto fab modified factory intake... worked great until I spent the money to go turbocharged.
