My friend is buying this for his 1998 Dodge Avenger. It's an interesting concept but something just seems fishy about this. Let me know if anyone even remotely thinks that this things is worth anything...thanks.

...Alright, alright.. j/k. It's a mirace people STILL ask about these things. It's been the biggest ripoff in history and talked about over and over and over again. It's a fan. It doesn't do ****. You might as well get that "turbo sound exhaust insert" or "electronic bov-noise maker" because they add just about as much HP!

I warned him that this plastic crap won't do anything...he's pretty determined to give it a try. Thanks for the opinions that I need to back up what I'm saying to him.

The most expensive on i just like the tornado a total knock off just junk that is a total scam but it is his money.

well, if he INSISTS on trying one, look around on teh internet on BOAT websites. The thing that those guys are selling as an electric turbocharger is actually sold as a boat ventillation fan. I once looked around and found the website all these kids buy them from. The actual cost of the unit is $20.
