Help on long term storage of my R
It looks like I may be working in the Bahamas for a couple of years, and I'll be away from my car for at least a month at a time and possibly longer.
I know there are steps that need to be taken if a car is to be stored for a long time (over a month), but where can I find out what to do about all of the fluids so the engine/ transmission/ clutch/ brakes/ gas tank/ fuel injectors/ etc... don't get ruined?
Is there a difference between a month long storage/ 2 month storage/ 6 month storage?

My NSX usually sits for five months each winter. The only thing I do is to plug in a battery charger (the kind that monitors the voltage and recharges only when it drops below a certain point). Come spring, it starts right up. (Don't forget to unplug first.) It just takes a few stops to wear the rust off the face of the brake rotors.
The battery charger is the 1.5 Amp Fully Automatic Onboard Maintainer/Charger, Item Number SE-1-12S, manufactured by Schumacher Electric Corporation. You can order it direct from their website for $32.99. (Their website seems to be rather slow today for some reason.)
I've done this with my NSX for the past eleven winters.
I don't think you need to do anything special about fluids, except keeping the gas tank full. Granted, if it sits for 3+ months, you should do an oil change when you take it out of storage, but that's a normal oil change interval anyway. Same thing with brake fluid; no need to vary from a normal routine such as flushing your fluid every 24 months, or every 6 months if you're doing track events.
However, if you really want to be fanatical, you can follow the advice given here. I just think it's overkill.
