Long island Snow Fun **BE CAREFUL**
Although i have driven the s in the snow before, today was horrible. The car was a nightmare on the S02's. Everyone just be carefull, Honda certienly did not have the snow in mind when they chose tires!

How long have you owned the car, im using 20% or less throttle, not above 3500 rpms, and just driving it easy on the whole and the *** slides on mine. Tires are properly inflated and have tred, so i guess some are just worse in the rain then others. Ill be going straight let the clutch out real slow, and still get about a revolution of spin when going easy on it. God forbid im not going slower the **** through a turn ill wind up doing a 180.

If we are talking snow, then my props to you, I know nothing of the real slippery stuff. However, I live in the city that rivals Seattle for rainfall each year so wet stuff I'm familiar with...
What do you have your tire pressure in the rear set at? I've had my S for about 6 months now, when I first got it the tires all around were at about 40psi, I found I get a lot less tail-happy by dropping them down to about 32. I've driven regularly in our rain without any of the symptoms you describe?! This is of course on stock tires, full tread, and 5k miles so far.

Hrm, if you are talking about snow/ice conditions...then yes, you are right in your observations. But, if you are talking about rain conditions (and it seems you are) and you're getting that kind of feedback from the car, something is wrong. I'm running a 4.77 rear end that gives me more leverage in each gear ~ 16%. I've driven the car on the track in standing water on worn DOT legal track tires with hardly any tread on them and could get the car to slide only if I induced it by adding too much gas or turning too sharp, mind you this is on standing water...with treadless tires...on a track - when things get wet, it's more slick than out on the streets as all the crap on there comes up b/c of the rain. So...there must be something wrong with what you are doing or the car to get it so "uncontrollable" in the rain.

Well, seeing as its in perfect mechancial shape and i have less trouble with my friends z06 in the rain (obviously a much more powerful torqey car), im just going to say the car is a lil wild in the rain and very much so in the snow. Guess mine is some kinda freak.
