Where to buy rubber snow chains?
I've never seen rubber snow chains and these look like they are a good design. I don't care if it's jdm or not.

I'm not too crazy about my current snow chains I have. They really dig into the tread because they're metal. I used them about 10 times last season when it was real bad out and they are definately worth the investment. Even with snow tires, when they don't plow and there's ice everywhere, chains are the only way of getting traction.
Any ideas where I can locate some where they have more choices on size?

Nice, I would also be interested in som of these. The only thing stopping me from getting the metal ones was I was afraid of them rubbing. They seem like they would be a little too big for our cars though. I see your in Jersey, nothing like waiting until the last second

I'd be interested too. Down here in SW Ohio we typically don't get that much snow, but occasionally we have a decent ~6 inch storm. It's nice to have a pair of those chains in the trunk just in case you ever get stuck somewhere. It's a little insurance, without having to run Blizzaks, which are generally overkill in this area.
I thought snow chains were illegal to run on the road??? Maybe I’m thinking about studded tires. Blizzaks work fine for me on snow and ice.
yup last minute thing
it's snowing already, 6 inches
when it stops i gotta slap on the pimpin' steelies & michelin arctic alpine snow tires (i procrasticnate too much)
gotta take off my CF lip as well
i don't ride on chains all the time, only when it's really really bad out.
snow tires just don't cut it when it's iced over. i've had blizzaks before and i wasn't happy with the grip, rear end wandered too much. arctic alpines
much better.

I have a (new) set of Okamoto chains - not sure of the size though, i think they are for a 225/70-15 tire (Crown Vic)...anyone want em?
One benefit is you can put them on w/o removing the wheel

Up here in Canada, I swear by Blizzak LM-22 tires. No matter how bad the snow and ice (rain too) is, these tires keep me going. Highly recommended.

Of course they do! In fact, that's when they're really superior.

Well, there are different models of Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires. For example, the Blizzak WS-50 is their best tire for driving on snow and ice; ride quality when the temperatures warm up is so-so. The Blizzak LM-22, on the other hand, is designed for better ride quality; snow and ice traction is good, but not as good as the WS-50. The WS-50 is the one with the Multicell compound, with "bubbles" that soak up melted ice like a sponge. Read more on the Tire Rack website.
I have two Integras. One has Blizzak MZ-02 tires (the predecessor of the WS-50) and the other has Michelin Arctic Alpin tires. Both tires kick *** in the winter - on snow and ice, as well as on dry pavement in frigid temperatures. Neither one has any wandering whatsoever. Winter tires rock!

i drove in the snow for the first time with my arctic alpins - rawk! the handling and braking are excellent, the traction from a stop can be tricky even in 2nd gear but much better than any all-season. i'm looking forward to driving in the snow again tomorrow!
ps: most of the cars having trouble today were the rwd bimmers.
