Default Clear Hoods

I've seen clear hoods for the mitsubishi eclipse, but have heard that they don't make them for any other type of car. Now I have three questions. Who makes these hoods? Where can I get them? And do they make them for any other car other than the eclipse? Anything will help. Thanks.

Damn1 What's up with all the negative feedback? It sounds to me like some of you "RACERS" are just a bit paranoid about showing what they got under the hood. HMMM. A little too mush show not enough go, huh? Here's some background for those of you ready to talk ****. My first car was a '94 Civic HB CX which with the help of an H22A, Crower, Mugen, Tenzo R etc., I was able to build a 400+HP sleeper complete with 13 in stock wheels, the CX emblem, and peashooter exhaust within 1 year. The only clue as to what was inside was a couple of stickers here and there, which for some reason always made people laugh. 10 seconds later was a differrent story though. Pretty soon I was racing anything that had wheels. A little over two years later, just moments after I smoked a slammed GSR, while going 70+mph hit a suburban that was waiting on the otherside of the hill while he was waiting for the light to turn green. After that I slowed down, bought 17" rims, twin exhausts with 5" tips; body kit, $5,000 system, etc. 1 week after I had finished my car, while at work, she was stolen. The cops found her 5 Hrs. later stripped. The only thing left was her springs and exhausts which they tried to kick off. $25,000 of my money,(not mommy and daddy's), was gone along with the 2years I spent working on her. By now you're probably wondering what all that had to do with a clear hood. Enough. Put simply I've been there, done that and am ready to turn in my burnt out clutches and broken flywheels for some trophies and cold hard cash. What? You thought I was going to cruise the streets with a stolen car magnet bolted to my engine bay? Shiit! Quit wasting my time and webspace with your whines about a carbon fiber hood. I already have a '94 supra twin turbo with carbon fiber body in the shop. So unless you have answers to my questions or a llegitimit beef with me, STAY OFF MY PAGE!!! Yours Truly, The Iceman

I think their ad is in the new SuperStreet and I do believe that they're making it for the Honda's now.

They're lame. The Eclipse that is featured in their ads is a piece o crap, plus the owner is a child molester. The dude's 35 years old and his girlfriends have all been under 18. Sik bastard.

I think the cost like $800. ****, I'd get a spoon hood at that price.

Why pay that much to advertise what you have under the hood for thieves to steal. I'd go with a spoon hood and report that sik bastad to the authorities.

I'd save the $800 altogether. That is, unless you're telling me saving 15lbs or so is worth $800.

that is the gayest Idea I have heard to date...

hmm why don't I just advertise to the world EXACTLY what I have inside, and count the hours till I get jacked.

Lock it down guys.

Oh wait, this guys even more of a loser.......... guy trys to race me on the freeway (unbenounced to me) and when he gets to where he's barely infront of me he cuts me of and then flashes his (get this) strobe lights at me.

Not only that, but he's in a showcrew with a logo painted on the rear window, and swears he's the BOMB.

just take your hood off completely. Then people will say wow, your hood is really clear. Plus that way you save the $800 bucks. AM I SMART OR WHAT?
*I am just joking.

Default Clear Hoods

I bet a lot of people will say...

"Take a look at this clear hood, I think this guy couldn't afford a carbon fiber hood."

How about clear fenders, clear bumpers, clear doors, clear roof? Just make your car transparent.

It would be good for shows and stuff. i have never been to a show or anything, but i'm guessing that it would be good there. If you had one people wouldn't steal all your v-tech parts by the best company ever, weapon r. Who can spending a few hunderd dollars on different colored parts that do the same job, if not worse as oem
