What does the new AutoTensioner kit bring? ASAP!
Does anyone know if the new Honda tensioner kit (06144 – P13 – 305) brings the Auto-tensioner and a new timming belt? I was told this kit includes the tensioner and belt, but I just got off the phone with Majestic honda and they told me it only brings the tensioner for $130..!!! That’s one expensive *** tensioner?
Can anyone verify this? I placed an order and i gota find this out quick!

I had just ordered it for my timing belt. All it contains is the tensioner with tool (a metal bar piece attach to it?) and the timing belt itself. You still need to order the balancer belt, water pump, and seals seperately. I priced it out against Manchester, A&H auto, Majestic, and San Leandro Honda and Hparts came out the cheapest by a good margin.
So i just got 2 diferent answers, oh well. I went ahead and ordered the kit. Its gonna suck if it doesnt include the timming belt.....
Thanks for the info!

The kit claims to come with the belt... sorry for the missinformation. I have actually never purchased the "kit", but only the tensioner alone.
There is actually no price break buying the kit if you're worried about it. Just make sure that you purchase the updated version of the auto-tensioner and the rest of the parts individually. From H-parts the prices for the parts were $62.07 for the tensioner and $37.70 for the main timing belt.
From the quotes that I got a little while ago (probably 2-3 weeks old) Majestic online site quoted quite a bit (and still does) lower than $130. $106.12 to be exact before S&H. Parts #17 and #23

Are you sure you got the correct part?

Yeah i ordered the kit. It has the up-dated Auto-tensioner and timming belt. Hope fully i will have better luck with this one. This will be my second tensioner in less than a year. Lets hope Honda fixed the shitty tensioner. If not, next time im doing the H23 conversion.

dont have time to gather all the parts i need and i needed to change it asap. If this new tensioner fails, then ill do the conversion.
