Yeah it kind of threw the thread off subject but I think hes reffering to the ambers being lit up along with the regular red reflector.

All remmeber is Civic guys used to do this back in like 98

I was just describing the car to you, hoping someone knew him. That way I could find out how he did it. So does anyone know how to get the amber in my taillights luminated?

wait his turn signals were on steady while driving?? retarded, if I saw that I would think damn, that dude has a wiring problem right there.

*edit* referring to amber turn signals... might look okay if they were red turn signals, but still IMHO signals should be signals.

i did this mod... just put 1157 sockets in there... not very hard. black goes to black, green to green and hook up the extra red to a parking light. just like the second gens doing this in the front. that's where i got the idea. i took it one step further by putting in red bulbs. that way my car was still legal at nite. (i have 94-94 tails)

This mod should look dope. Hopefully I'll be the first around here to do it. I have an extra set of 94-97 tails that have cracks in them so I'm going to steal the sockets from those. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

I honda-techs DIY tips.

I remember watching the real time ITR's race on tv back in 97-98...and their tail lights were like that as well....when they hit the brake, all the lights lit up though...... looked pretty dope imo but i dont think its legal if it constantly shines amber.

you can get the sockets from acura or honda. say you need a front signal socket for a 95 gs. they cost like 6 bucks a piece. i did this for my g2 for the front. so my bumperlights are on with the 1157 small filament, then when i hit the blinkers, the large filament lights up along with it. hope this helps.
EDIT: if you need help i can take pictures

yeah...it would help if you took pics...and even if it didnt help it would be cool to see it...so all i gotta do is take out the existing taillight socket, replace it with the 1157 and splice the light wire to it?

I dont think the 1157 socket would fit in the signal plug. You probably have to dremel off a little plastic nub off the socket to make it fit. Not positive, just a thought.
