Guys, I was thinking of getting a beater (preferably honda), and I wonder what is consider bad/high mileage for honda cars? do u think over 150Ks is consider way too much? or honda car go all the way to over 200Ks?
My friends integra has 243000 miles on it. To answer your question it all depends on how long you expect it to last. It really matters how the car was taken care of also.
Check to see if there's oil in it (just kidding), and if the timing belt has been changed any time recently (this time I'm serious).
If everything else if OK and it drives well, it should be good to go for a while longer.

over 150k is fine as long as it was maintained well. I have had 2 hondas, both crxs in that range. One 173k and one 145k. Both have ran very well.
I'd buy a 200k mile 240 quicker than I'd buy a 200k mile Honda...
But that's only because you can downright abuse a Volvo and get that many miles out of it. Hondas take some TLC past 150k or so. (TLC = mildly normal maintenance).

well probably over 3 yrs or less. Yes I think it all really matters about how the car was taken care of.
I remember last year there was a 94 accord with 210K, and when I ran over carfax, it didn't pass emission test..
, that's why I wonder about the mileage
