hondata
ok i just have a few more questions that i would like answerd. i did read threw many many post in the search section and had lots of questions answerd for me there. there are just a few more i did not find.
1. is the revlimiter on the stage 3b, full throttle shift, drag launch, is that converted to a spark cutoff instead of a fuel cutoff. no fuel is not a good thing under full boost??
2. is there a hondata tuner or persons good enouph to tune the hondata in the seattle wa. area
3. i really like the stage 3b. wouldn't go lower than that. but is the hondata farly easy to adjust once it has been tuned. if it is fairly easy once you learn it a bit. and get new things is it possible to tune yourself or do you sill have to take it to a profecional. thanks for any help.

hey redsin
i would first ask you what kind of car you are putting this on. i'm sure you have done the research because i know that it is just super expensive to do this kind of conversion for an obdII car.
the only question i can answer truthfully is number 3
anything lower than 4 has to be adjusted by a dealer no matter what. only the stage 4 can be adjusted by and individual. but to do that you need software, laptop, rom editor and a couple other things. i personally stopped doing the research after that. i am still looking for a standalone ecu for a 96 integra gsr with a turbo. not very easy. let me tell you.
just keep researching though on the internet. frustration is frequent but when you do find that particular ems you are golden.
some other sites if you haven't looked at them. http://www.zdyne.com http://www.haltech.com
and i don't know a good website but it's link electrosystems.
if you have any advice for me let me know.

i woudl be putting this in a obd1 civic. still with a d series motor. i understand that all that is needed with the stage 4. it all comes with the stage 4 actually except for teh labtop. witch if all your gonna run on it is hondata you can get one for a fair price. the only reason i was asking about the tuning is i don't wont to just jump into a program that i don't know how to use properly. i mean there is no way unless you actually get the program to knwo exactly what to do to make it work correctly. so i was asking about tuning time so that i could get it tuned by a profecianal. than i would be able to learn off of them. and do some additional tuniny by myself. sorry if this is kindof confusing. i have looked into some of the other systems as well. thanks
