Anyones ride on here??
The nitro hpi rs4 ss, which comes with the better motor is like $400 as a kit I think, which includes basically everything you need. The traxxas nitro 4-tec, which does like 65mph out of the box is less expensive, and comes with a 2.5hp motor. You'll end up upgrading alot on it though, as the HPI comes with better parts stock I would say.
I have two. RS4 Pro's. Let me know if you want one. I spent close to 1000 on each car. It's made of carbon fiber. That filter is fake. Mine are electric and go fast as hell. Just be sure not to crash it into a curb. I have a black ITR body too

I'd probably sell mine for 550 plus shipping with about 6 different bodies. I can get pics if you want. I have every aluminum hop up piece. Bigger motor. Better speed control.
Only thing you'll need is a battery charger and a new pinion. The carbon fiber chassis is brand new. Both cf decks were replaced.
Bodies:
Black ITR
Black EG Tamiya body
Silver EG tamiya body
Altezza
four door accord
and a Opel Calibra
Comes with brand new slicks, shocks, springs, cf decks.
Should do over 40mph with the motor it has now. Trust me you don't want it any faster than that if you are just using it to play on the street or small course.
Keep it away from moving vehicles, curbs, kids.

There goes his aerodynamics, which are unbelieveable on those cars. I raced 1/10th Nitro Pro competitively for a few years with a Serpent Impulse, and the different bodies on the chassis made a huge difference on the handling on the car. Blunt nose car=more steering, better turn in. Sleek front end=better high speed stability with worse turn in. God I miss racing those things, but I must say the HPDE's are more fun. I still have enough parts to rebuild an old Impulse which I might for fun-play with at autocrosses in between runs. Any other RC guys out there?
maybe if it was titled correctyl you could have found some

Feast your eyes on my baby. The pics are big, but I want you to see the detail. All the hop up parts are new along with the new cf chassis. Ready to chase down an R.....or rather have an R chase it
USDM bling at its finest
Forgot to mention it has a cf belt tensioner and a custom steering setup that I made myself. Saved a lot of weight off the car.

Depends on the motor. Yes you can make it keep up. After playing with both kinds let me give you the pro's and con's
Electric Pro's
-clean (no gas or grease everywhere)
-no need to buy gas
-relatively quiet
-no need to cut body
- no fumes
-easier to fix
Con's
-Can't run as long (5-7 minutes before recharge) they might have come out with better batteries by now, but I haven't bought any in the past 5 years.
Gas Pro's
-more power available?
- some people say more fun due to the noise ( personal preference)
-longer running time
Con's
- greasy chassis
-gotta buy the gas which is kinda expensive
-your neighbors will get mad at you due to the noise....sounds like a motorized mini scooter
Both are very mod friendly. Almost like fixing up a real car on a smaller scale.
Most come in the 1/10 scale which is what I have. If you want a bigger toy they have 1/8 and 1/5 scale. Those can facilitate larger motors. Some of them have broke the 100mph barrier on a track. Not really good for a street toy as you can imagine. One full speed turn into something solid and it's done.
