DAD? Never heard of the brand. And my "dad" never got me any racing seats, I bought them myself - I think they call 'em Recaro

find a better price for me then? I got 2 seats, 2 rails shipped for 400 bucks...

id rather pay more for a better fitting seat and one thats also fia approved so i can race in the racing seat

DAD= Dynamic Auto Design. there in like every magazine Pretty comfy seats for the buck. i still love my torino's til theives ripped them to hell.

 

They looks exactly like the Corbeau or even Sparco Torinos. Are they replicas of them?

 

They are actually very comfortable and are fairly good quality. Just because they aren't recaro don't mean they suck.

 

there knock offs of the torino's. they hold just as good but the fabric and cousioning is a little bit stiffer

I do agree though, if you care about the actually professional quality, and also want a real name I would stick to saving your money I didn't have a grand more to drop on torinos so I took up the offer and I'm happy I did, but I don't, unlike some people obviously, need a name brand seat but as mr. delpoop has so graciously put it the seats aren't made to wow the judges or glue you down in a 90 degree turn.

 

what the hell is the point of getting the seat if it doesnt keep your *** firm through the turns

Personally I dont give a **** about approval from any shitty-*** organization I dont race obviously, and you cant beat 400 shipped Damn EJ1 Civic seats suck

 

seats are nice and affordable, but i wouldnt get 'em tho...i rather pay a little bit more for Corbeau seats

 

damn, whats wrong with you people, just because they are not some high *** brand that cost over a thousand dollars, im not going to be racing everyday or anything big, i just want some decent seats, is it because im poor, thats why you guys hating??? **** off, if you guys just gonna talk ****. **** i was just looking out for your well being and also trying to prevent another gay riced out car **** i got my sparco sprints for 200 each great for every day use, very light weight, and excelnt for the track and wont ever wory about passing teck when i race and personaly i would rather have a stock seat in my car than some ugly shaped knock off seat that says "dad" on it so if that still too exspensive for you than just get some del sol seats their cheap and very comfy and look nice

 

hey man I just got a set of the D.A.D. seats for 370 shipped with sliders! they are not the best seats I have ever sat in but for the price you cant beat them. yeah sparcos and recaros are better but they are like 4 times the price so what do you expect? They are a lot better at holding you in place then the stock seats I had in my car. if you just want something better then stock but are trying not to break the bank then these seats are for you

 

I'm willing to bet most of the people ripping on the quality of those seats have never been on a track anyway.

They look good, they're probably more comfortable than stock, and they're cheap. What's wrong with that?
