Default Lookin for some opinions and suggestions!!

Ok, check it out. Lookin for some opinions here on what everyone thinks, and maybe what ideas YOU would do with my toy.

Ha....Lovin the *positive* feedback LOL

Say, what's by say "wrong" with it? I recently got the whole thing repainted so it does look a little better, and have another front end (SF2) for it that was on it, i just met an armadillo that didn't like it. And i've got more tails since too. Those were some cheap-o APC's.

Oh yea,,by the way, how'd you make those pics smaller dood?

Looks like a clean install on the kit but you're not going to get praise for that here. Try car domain. Honda-Tech is more function over fashion.

yeah loose the body kit, tails, and down size those wheels to a 15 or 16 and get the exhaust back to one pipe, but props on the new paint job and what about engin shots?

All I did was take off the .orig.jpg at the end.

Back to the car, what's under the hood? That might help your cause. Body kits, those tails, dual exhaust and white wheels aren't my cup of tea.

I'd start over and keep it looking stock. Just put something unreal under the hood

besides the tails, I dont think it is bad. I personally wouldnt buy a body kit before i had my engine work done, but I am not a big fan of aftermarktet bodykits. OEM owns me. However, I dont see a problem with having all bling and no go or bling and go. Some people prefer to ride in style. Sure my 240 was fast but it looked like ****. I think it is nice besides the altezzas

Oh ok then. As far as under the hood specs, not that much to brag about yet. Got the exhaust, Intake, and a Nitrous Express Wet Kit (75 shot). I am in the process of lining up a b18 swap through some connections in my club. So, it won't be all that SLOW for long. Although, i gotta love the gains from the NX kit.

Oh yea,,,i was told if i lose the Power steering and AC units, that i could be expecting some significant gains. IS THAT TRUE???

Maybe not SIGNIFICANT...but noticeable. I think it just helps in weight reduction and throttle response since you're getting rid of some parasitic drag. Can someone confirm/deny that?

Yeah and what he said. BUT since you invested all this work in the body, you might as well start makin it a show car by blingin out the engine bay and interior. Thats just my $.02 though. In the end all that matters is doing what you want to do.

Not significant gains, but it helps. Honestly, what do you want your car to do? Perform well? Auto cross (From what I see, no)?

I would keep AC, I hate power steering and have seen some PS lines brake during a race setting the engine a blaze. But I doubt you would run into that, the civic PS line is much more robust than the prelude...

Anyway, you asked for suggestions. I was going to give you crap for the body kit and crap because I'm into performance only. But I'm happy to see you're too! That's why this is honda-tech and well known for technical information - and flames...

I would NOT waste your time making your ride back to stock, if you like it the way it is I would keep it and build the engine.

Why go B18B? No vtec, same power with your current n20 shot! Build a higher comp short block and raise the shot to 120! IMHO!

No offense, your a moron. Sorry. How is he going to add a "type r" lip with an after market front bumper?

He has the 'rice' theme going, why have only stock tails? Waste of time...

This sisnt the best place to ask for opinions on cars with bodyktis or something. I realised everyone here loves the "stock" look. WHY? i have noooo clue. To me i wanna be different, not look stock.

I like it! not feeling dual exaust buts thats just me! Kep up the good work. Like the no wing

people like the stock look here because it actually looks good. at first bodykits were alright because it made your cheap econo car look like a more expensive more race oriented car i guess... but that only worked for a little bit. now when i see a body kit it just looks horribly cheap. nothing imo makes a car look worse. there are some bodykits that arent bad, but not many at all. the tail lights look horrible, always have always will. the wheels are too big and too bright, they draw way too much unwanted attention. the dual exhast is just a WASTE of money, time, natural resources etc, it looks bad and isnt functional at all. also, keep in mind what these parts do to your resale value. i painted my first car (97 eclipse) lambo orange, blitz body kit, 18's, wing, all that stuff.. i paid 12,000 in 2000 and sold it for $4500, after spending a lot of money on it... not worth it bro

Hmm...ok let me see if i can get this straight. LOL.

Ok,,,,on the tail lights. They're shitty and i was gonna order some more just like them, but newer. But hey, i DID ask for suggestions, so i'll listen. Anyone got some ideas of what would look good on THIS car, not just in general i mean. Maybe a link to see em would be nice?

Ok, and then on the front end. I have a SF2 front that's painted too, i could swap, and does everyone agree that MAY just look a TAD bit better than the whole "ricey" look? LOL. Or, am i just to the point of no return? hehe

Ok, as far as engine bay, i have some custom props, just no pics. (damn camera was a lender) And, also, on the whole motor deal, how much would i be lookin to pay, and on WHAT to spend it on, in order for my SOHC d16 to handle say a 100 shot, SAFELY. I was edgy about running the 75 anyway, but got a air/fuel ration gauge to monitor the running lean problem, so that kinda fixed that. I ran it with a 50 shot forever, and had NO problems what so ever. (And still none, YET, with the 75 shot.)

I was just wanting to do a b18 swap, and THEN still spray it. I mean, i can pretty much wax a fairly stock SI now, but i wanna be able to handle those dredded sleepers too.

i personally think u should keep the body kit et cetera (excluding the tails) and concentrate on the engine so when people think ur a dumbass ricer and then u burn them with a h22 turbo they will **** themselves
