Default Need help picking from 3 Motors...any info helpful

95 B18C 91k Miles
96 B18B 89k Miles
97 B16a 37k Miles

I plan on moving my turbo kit from my SOHC over to the new motor.
All above swaps are priced in the within 100 Dollars of each other.

I am leaning toward the B16 because the Drag Kit for the B16, and D16 use the same turbo, so there should not be any Efficiancy problems.

TIA

Get the 97, replace the head with a B18C1 or C5.

go for the b16, simply to avoid any problems with the turbo. Plus the B18's seemed like they had quite a bit of miles on them for boosting. What were the prices on the two?

eh...i am boosting 14psi on a 100% stock d16z6 block with 140,000 miles on it which i picked up for $300 used. As long as the engine is taken care of..i dont think milage is a big deal.

so your saying that all engines are the same as yours? I wouldn't take my chances on one guys opinion.

14psi on a single cam with stock internals, sounds to me like your looking for problems.

B18bturbo(Viren) is selling a 620hp B18 for sale in the classifieds, check that out(you might have to scroll down through the numerous topics though). He says it's in excellent shape too. That would be awesome in an EK.
