im planning to install these in my car this weekend..but in the ground control directions it says to shave off a piece of the shock..but the drawing isn't too helpful and i can't tell which part to shave off.. any help w/ be appreciated.. thanks

 

You have to shave off the drainage hole on the shock to make it bigger since the GC sleeves go over them and cover it up. If you dont water and all kinds of gunk will get stuck in between the GC sleeve and KYB shock.

Just look at the shocks and you'll see the small hole that I'm talking about near the perch mounts... Good luck
