Default whats the c/r on h22a1? help

what is the compression ratio on a h22a1 ,cause my h22a pistons siezed .
and will it lower my hp ,and can i get a gasket to raise the compression
to make back to my old h22a setup ,im a 3rd gen so i know not as much
about this engine as i know the b20a . thanks

it's 10:1 but if your piston is SEIZED, you need to fix it, yeah your is is messed up till you fix it. What do you mean by seized anyway?

the bearings spun and i heard a rod knock and
bam the motor died right before my eyes, so
i dident have money for a new motor so i bought a block from a hondatech member for 500.00 im just concerned that my hp wont be as much so im wondering if i can increase it by
head gasket or milling the head?????

That doesn't make any sense. How would your compression be lower? H22s are H22s

what i mean is that is my h22a is dead and the block i bought is h22a1 us version 94 vtec

*IF* you have a JDM engine swapped in your car that you spun a bearring the compression is 10.6:1 or 11:1 ...
USDM is 10:1

so yes, you will loose a bit of power if you goto a USDM block with stock USDM internals.

if you want to raise compression you can mill the head and/or get a higher compression gasket. Both are options that have been used on many H22's.
