I used a -3 and I didn't. I don't know about you and your -4. Turn the key. If the smoke don't stop, you need a restrictor. There's no rocket science here!

put a 1/16 of a inch hole in the end if it is biger then that you might want to do something with it...that is what i have been told before when i did my turbo stuff
