Weighed mine after it's big stripdown and it came to 2430lbs

It helped that I started with one of the lighter Ludes to start with

JDM Si VTEC, no sunroof, no ABS, no 4ws, no T/C, no toys at all

Ditched the A/C Climate control, all the interior and loads of other stuff that don't need to be there. Replaced original seats with Sparco Evos

It takes commitment to lose lots of LBS, don't expect to be able to put much of the standard stuff back in when it comes to sell the car.

You can loose good weight from simply stripping out the trim, carpets etc but that'll only get you so far......

Mine still is my daily driver...... can't afford anything else

Just recently did a total strip down of a crashed 4th Gen and have noticed a few more key areas of weight saving to be had.....will be looking into it over the winter and hopefully emerge the other side sub 2400lbs. Gotta be carefull not to loose stength as well though....she's a circuit car not a 1/4 miler

Im going to try to go for both. Could you PM me from front to back what you stripped? I might go your route, still deciding if i wanna keep p/s and a/c. Dont know. How hard is it without p/s? is it hard to move the wheel when the car is stopped?

completely stripped rear (still have door panels), no passenger seat, no ac, ps, or cc, cf hood, odessey battery = 2675 without me in it...

2675 lbs + 185 whp + 22" mt et drags = 13.7-13.8 timeslips...
