You can't do partial throttle tunning like you can w/ Hondata...

(Right?)

The main problem is that it does not adress any timing issues at all.

Couldn't have said it better... Though without anything more than a 3-5 degree retard on my dizzy, i've been running around at 10psi on the hack for 10k miles, d16z6, no problems so far. It's some high quality low budget fuel managemnt.

also the bog u speak of is less than u get with an FMU and inline.
other downside is its a pita to get dsm450s to idle on a dseries.

not 1 idle problem whatsoever. 10psi for over 8k miles and boosted for 14k miles. as for addressing timing i use a msd btm and retard 1/2 degree per pound of boost.

Most of the DSM people use them and are very happy. But most of the honda owner dislike them. I'm gonna put 1 in my DSM next month

i put a turbo on my b16 on august. i used the hack and after everything was done the car threw a check engine light. at 1500rpms it revs up and down. the code is for iacv. i relpaced it like some ppl said, but that didnt work. its really bugging me and i cant cruse at a low speed and when i give tiny throttle the engine jerks the whole car.
