Default retarded timing+rich+3"dp= overboosting?

I know I am running real rich and I pulled like 6-7 degrees of timing out of the dizzy... also I am running an open 3" dp now. (I know too much retard and fuel will cause issues sometimes)

I have a .45bar (6.5psi) spring in a tial wastgate... which feeds mostly from runner 1+2 on my mani. now in 3rd gear at 6000 wot I see as much as like 10.5 psi on a very slow steady overboosting.

tuning/ open exhaust my problem?

Uh, what fuel management are you using?

I don't see how this is relevant since it seems as if he is asking why he is getting boost creep.
What type of manifold are you running? If it is custom, show pics so we can see if that could possibly be your problem.

I am not having good luck posting pics for some reason... the webspace I have to host from sucks. I will see what I can do for a pic and try to update the thread.

it is custom... unequal length shorty style... the angle of wastegate placement to runner is pretty good... no heavy change in flow to be routed out the gate (maybe a 75-80 degree turn down, is that bad?). it feeds off runners 1+2 damn near at the collector.

the worry is how the creep is not spikey at all... just rock solid steady climb to 10.5psi at redline. rerouted vacuum lines and installed a hallman pro... still same story. double/ tripple checked for leaks and not finding much (pulling 20-22 in vac on the gauge also)... was also told a leak would be causing different issues.

edit: found an older pic and you really cannot see the wastegate (sorry all I have) but it comes almost straight down off the first 2 runners closest to the dizzy. (hallman pro and vacuum lines are now installed, but not in the older pic)

(btw I know my egt placement is not what people recommend, but I did not have much to work with).

NEW information... the bov on the car is sticking like a big dog (description below of events)... is that gonna cause what I am experiencing lately?

when revving it slowly at a stand still to about 2000-2200 it cannot hold the piston shut and slowly opens almost all the way?!? then it cannot shut properly and the valve/ piston sticks in random positions while trying to close and seal.

too much retard can equal boost creep and 6-7 is a lot
