obviously it depends, but with tuning i'd wager a guess
that the teg wins that bout.

LS Integras don't take to turbos nearly as well as GS-Rs. You'd probably have to run more than just a bolt-on turbo kit to get enough power out of it to keep up with the S2K. On top of that, the S2K just has nice wide powerband, and a 6-speed gearbox. Not sure which wins in the aerodynamics dept.

From a standing start, the S2K will almost certainly win because of better launch traction.

ouch, shootin down my hopes like that .. oh well, i kinda figured that, take 2 cars making 200whp, one is 6spd, and is lighter.. im thinking they get the win, when i get 240whp i think i would get the edge..

Thats a REAL slow turbo LS.
no joke. A respectably tuned turbo LS should be able to hang no prob.

LS Integras don't take to turbos nearly as well as GS-Rs.
What do you have to back that up? I've seen about 20 dyno plots that say all integras love turbo. If you have a turbo LS and turbo GSR at the same psi, the GSR will have about 20 more horsepower and a lot less torque. Where as stock to stock the GSR has 30 more horsepower and 1 more torque. The entire B18 series is excellent for boost, once I get a dyno plot I'll prove it

the LS engine is the best engine for turbo out or the ls, gs-r and type r , it has the lowest compression and sees the biggest gains in torque over any of the others. A boosted ls will run mid 13s easy with a good turbo kit like revhard or drag III, i doubt an s2000 with just exhuast and heavy wheels will come within 2 or 3 cars of the teg, let along 7. Maybe he was running his turbo at like 3 psi for street use because a jrsc'ed teg ive seen beat an s2000 by about a car or two. Dont just look down on the teg because any of us can dump 3 grand into our car and be running right with you guys and maybe a little quiker.
to this day my favorite race ive ever seen was a boosted teg beat a worked 86 vette, i talked to him after and he said he had the rev hard stage 2 kit at 9 psi thats it, and he said he got 13.0 at the track

ever seen my old car, chuck? boostin gsr. I know a thing or two about Integras. Our race was 60-140 and i was up 7-8 cars. My friend was running 8lbs too. W/ the extra revs and the s2k gearing it wasn`t much of a race. 0-1320 it would be a different story if the ls owner could drive.

hold up were u sc'ed during this race or no? Yea im not trying to flame anyone at all i just wanted to give the teg some god damn credit, lol. I just cant see a stock s2k with exhaust beat a turbo teg by 8 cars. maybe he sucked at driving too but i really dont know how turboed tegs are, im gettin my drag III kit in about a week so ill know, i dont even know how they are off a roll. bt 7-8 cars seems a bit much

Run your turbo`d ls from 60-140 and you`ll find that it`s not very fast...trust me.

well i dont think ill race to 140 cause i dont want to boost in 5th gear but ill race all the way through 4th.. it doesnt suprise me the S2000 can beat it on the top end, given its 6 spd gearing and 9k RPM redline but i will race one top end and see how it goes anyways..

oh yeh vtecvoodoo, do u still have that car? if so i want those rims.. im curious though as to they wiegh..
