Default Any experience with Polk/Momo MM10?

I just picked up a Polk/Momo MM10 up for dirt cheap. I installed it last night and it sounded great (bass nice and tight). It says there is a break in period of about 30 hours and I was just wondering if it will sound better and will the bass loosen up? thanks in advance

the break in period is like stretching before running. the sub will start sounding a little louder after it is broken in.

Yup, subwoofers move -- obviously. The materials they are made out of need a bit of time before they can properly "Set" -- hence a break in period. Sort of like your car brakes -- they tell you not to mash on them within a certain time of replacing them, as they can get ruined. Just dont try overloading the subwoofer with tons of power right away, and the sound should only improve.

MM10 is a nice little sub
