I bought TEINS and im not 100% satisfied
I recently install my Teins Basic Damper Kit on my 2000 Prelude SH. After installation, the ABS and ATTS light turned on...does anyone know how this could be fixed? I already tried reseting my ECU and both of them were still on...Help
who did the installation? it could be anything. you need to give me more details.
the atts/abs sensors could be messed up.
btw, tein basic sucks.

do the check engine light checking procedure.
the ABS light will also blink.
look up the codes in the helms. probbaly a sensor damaged during install.

If the suspension is set way too low (i.e. - tires tucked into fenderwells), that can trigger the ATTS trouble light too.

when you buy the bottom of the line suspension from a good company don't be too surprised if they suck. Sorry to have to say it but it's true...

If your ride height is messed up (~1" difference) you will trigger an ATTS light. I've never triggered an ABS light w/o pulling the e-brake up and driving with it for a lil while intensionally. Pull the codes yourself so you don't have the shop dicking you around. Also, the people who are saying that you deserved what you got are full of it. Not everything has to be expensive to preform as advertised.
yea but basic lowering springs from tien are probaly only slightly better as the ones sold on e-bay.
I think however they only suck 4 him because of the installation error....

Again, I have no idea where you get your information. Tein makes good springs that are consistant thoughout the entire wind. The grade of spring that goes into the HA's, RA's, or which ever Tein system doesn't change. The reasons for the price hike is not the spring quality, it's the shock/strut quality.
