I think 10k / 7k is too high, plus the rear should be equal or higher than the front.

You should be able to get by in the 5-6 range.

(Coming from a non-ITR, non-JIC owner.)

650lb fronts 750 lbs rear

Its about 12k front 14k rear.

Im thinking about going 14k 16k to 14k 18k but I need more track time on my current settings.

Im using ERS springs because it came with the 10k 7k which is to light for me and they are way cheaper then JICs springs.

I believe 12/14 is what Chris N & I are ordering - I can't wait to see how they work...

I know this wasn't helpful, but I'm going bonkers waiting for my order ***thanks WIREDSPEED***

I'm ording 8k front, 11k rear. I like my fillings and kidneys to stay where they are when I drive to work in the morning

Just for reference - multiply by 55 to get the spring rate in lbs/in.

i.e. 10K is ~ 550 lbs.

I'm running the 12Kf/14Kr setup on my Buddy Clubs, and and more than one person (including Bbasso recently) said it was quite streetable as well as comfortable.

For people doing race cars, I'd think Sackdz's, Warren's or Wai's rates are more appropriate, however I'd bet each of these guys have substantially different sway/strut tower/ and cage/roll bar configurations. JMHO Ed

12k/14k and a 26mm rear mugen bar.

Chris - who is going to call kyle and figure everything out today... most people still want JIC's input/advice it seems.

The dampers should be matched for the springs, so the ride should be tollerable. Hell, wai's car is tollerable at 20k/16k.

Planning on doing 600/850, I'll see how that setup is and go from there. BTW the car will not be daily driven so I'm not really worried about ride quality.

ha, too bad you can join the group buy goning on now and get a brand new set with custom springs and damper settings for $1400

As for the rates, think I should get 12k front and 14k rear? Would probably be better off in the long run.

Ummm ... yes!
The BC's have 15 adjustment settings, and I set them to 5 front 8 in the back and left them that way since the June HyPeRfEsT at Summit Point.
My Instructor at that time used to race ITRs in Grand-Am, and had warned me about a tendancy to understeer (and I'm thinking WTF? hehe).
Anyway he said he'd actually enjoyed that session with me on track, and the car handled great (Mugen bars, USTBs and Kirk Bar).

Chad took it out again at Summit a month or so ago and said it felt well balanced, but that there seemed to be a bit of front end dive under braking and that the ear was a little bouncy after 2 and leading to T3 at Summit.
Solution might to be either to run some stiffer front springs up front (more than a 14K), or to up the shock setting some more.... your choice guys. Matter of personal preference, car set-up, driving style/comfort zone, .... maybe an 18KF/14KR combo would be interesting for my next spring change!

Everyone who has posted in this thread has already paid (or should have) for the Group Buy, or has committed. You are targeting the wrong crowd with your sale...
