Wheel Offsets
I was wondering if anyone knows what offset on aftermarket wheels I need to be as close to stock as possible. Looking at 9" Wide in the rear and 7.5" to 8" in the front. Don't want any problems with rubbing.
Basically, the higher the better. That's a bit of a generalization, but short of going custom, you're going to need the highest offset that anyone produces. For ex., I believe an aftermarket CE28N in 9"R and 7.5"F runs something like +63R, +55F.
Depends what kind of wheels that you are getting. For a 7.5-8" wide in the front , you can run offset +45 to +55. For 8-9" rear, you can run +50 to +63 without rubbing. It also depends what tires you will be running cuz if it's too wide , you end up rubbing.
the c-west car uses 17x8.5 +35 front,17x9.0 +45 rear.....on advan rg wheels...235/45-17 f,255/40-17 r
js racing car runs 17x8.5 +60 front and rear..... on ssr type c wheels.....255/40-17 f/r
amuse car runs 18x9.0+40 front and rear.... on volks ce28n....255/40-18 f/r
mugen car runs 17x7.5+52 front, 17x8.5+59 rear....on mf-10...215/45-17 f, 245/40-17 r

more than cut/rolled. Don't forget camber, it's their friend.

not exactly camber kits as those are generally referred to as devices that fix camber problems of cars that are "slammed" to straighten out the wheels. The "camber kits" that j's offers are more like camber inducers. They give you a lot of negative camber.

The Amuse s2000 most definitely has cut fenders in the front. If you look closely at the pics in the Honda Tuning feature, you can easily see that the front fenders no longer wrap under into the wheel well.
