I just spoke with Sean at Quaife, and he said that Quaife's for Honda's sell in the $400.00 range in Europe. I was like, "WTF"? Do we have any members that can confirm this? Is there that big of a difference with the Euro compared to the US currency?

 

I just moved back from Germany and I ordered mine from the states. If He's thinking of the old exchange rate then that would be $800-1000 now 'cause the Euro f*cked everything up.

The reason why the topic was brought up was because of warranting a Quaife. I can't seem to find my reciept of certificate, and I was discussing this matter with him. He said that in order for Quaife to warranty the lsd, they need to prove where it originated from. I asked what does it matter, and he brought up the price difference over in Europe. I heard what he said, and he said they run in the $400.00 range!

 

There made in the UK aren't they? I have tried emailing Quaife in the UK for a price the **** haven't answered once.

Quaife is a very small company in England. The Quaife in Calif just has the exclusive rights to distribute them in the USA. If you bought your Quaife thru me, I can help you with the warranty. If you bought thru anyone else, good luck

 

Earl do you know how to get in touch with guys in the UK (england) I have tried there main website lots of times no reply. My parents are over there now would love them to bring back one or 2 for me.

 

Not a clue. My feeling is that the company is just so small that they don't deal with retail type people. Afterall, they gave away the WHOLE USA to one small VW parts seller. I don't think they will deal with some tourists. I could be wrong.

Yo Turbo Si.... I don't live too far from Quaife in the UK.... A diff unit will set u back £575 or like $900....
