heat=auto tranny's nightmare.

you dont need to be hauling loads all the time for a transmission cooler.

just to let you know, there's already a tranny cooler build in under your radiator but adding another air cooled tranny cooler would be much better for your auto transmission.

hell, there's even gasoline cooler for the fuel

radiator cooler, dont you mean tranny cooler? It would be enough, think of it as a huge radiator for just your tranny. If your engine only uses a slightly smaller core than the tranny cooler...it will def work. If you look at the stock compared to the aftermarket one more fins, bigger surface area (same qualities as intercooler), it will be able to displace a lot more heat. Also think about replacing stock ATF with an upgraded, I haven't looked into brands but have heard about redline ATF, but thats the only one. People on here should be able to help out with ATF brands. Don't forget better AT filter, and you might want to replace gasket on tranny pan. Hope this helps a little bit.

I am for it too...but only if you are getting into some power.....I was just saying that an aftermarket tranny cooler has more fins and has a larger surface area....this will work in cooling your tranny. Its like replacing a side mount or top mount intercooler with a front mount intercooler....cools more charged air with a bigger cooling surface area. Sorry don't have any pics of install or how-to's. I would imagine mount the cooler to the front of radiator and run line to tranny, also product should include destructions..i mean instructions.

you can put the T/C behind the grille, if there's room for your car to slip in behind the nose/grill

FMIC-front mount intercooler, that the bling bling thing for turbo/sc'ed car
a type of pressureized air to air heat exchanger.

FAL do make tc/ oc in number of size
