Default b20vtec automatic crv

just wanted to kno how many of you auto crv guyz have mated a vtec head with the b20 block and what kind of results you got out of it using the automatic transmission. automatic vtec is kind of interesting to me becuz i drive a gsr and it has to keep the revs up just to get any sort of go power. how do you guyz fare using the auto tranny?

well the revs has nothign to do with the head.. i ts the tranny itself... you will always fall out of vtec on the auto tranny...i was thinking of doing this myself... but why do that.. if i can save a bit more.. and get me a JRSC..

it all really depends wha tyou want cr-vtec for? For the added power? since the cr-v is somewhat underpowered for some people. And the problem with revving higher. get a vafc and set vtec lower. In auto, normal driving conditions the auto shift is around 3.2rpm. IF you set vtec letes say 4k, you'll just need to depress the gas a lil more. but you'll still fall out of vtec without hard acceleration.

i don't think anyone on the board has an auto cr-vtec. if they did they would have the 2nd cr-v. with ivtec.

look at your own post.. its nothing but about the tranny...except about the mating the vtec head with the b20 block...get a clue.. now take that and shove it up your ****
you should be banned in my opinion.. or atleast from this part of the forum go back to schoool.. or learn how to ask questions

if that is a legit question. mostly all 4cyl automatics have 4 gears. with the exception of the new new cars being released having 5 gears.
