Just like the topic says anyone put a jspec motor in there car and either dyno or gtech it. I ask cause i wanna g-tec it to see wut are some of the #'s i should be looking to get around. I know gtech isnt the best device but a close range of it ..

 

in my sig => intake/header/mut exhuast and a vafc.

 

176 hp 152 ft lbs
test pipe, exhaust and cai

 

thats almost identicle to my baseline run w/out the VAFC. I only gained 4 or so from the vafc.

 

I got 169.8 and 140.5 tq
with AEM CAI
Greddy evo
and no cat

But my TPS sensor is throwing a CEL you think that could be the reason why im not getting similar numbers!

i had a Gtech once. that thing was great. one time it said that i had 643hp. even though it obviously was wrong. I sold it shortly after.

Daboi630: thanks that helped a lot. You guys think cause my TPS is out of adjustment it could be missing some HP? and my butterfly valve for the intake runners isnt hooked up yet?

The butterfly valve should only hurt your low end performance, and not affect your peak numbers, as they are open above 4600 anyway.

Get your TPC adjusted for sure. And if you're not using a real dyno, use one.

 

local car shop did a dyno day 3 pulls for $35.
i did one pull all motor and at the time i was spraying as well. first run is just my baseline, 2nd and 3rd were with nitrous, supposedly a 60 shot but it was way too rich....the engine in question had near 100k hard miles on it by the time i got it.

 

it looks like your lines are incomplete????

can you post it in the thread in my link too?

 

the tach lead on teh dyno that day was ******* up i think.it happened to 2-3 other people that day too.
