1 can for all tires, 1 can of clear
As for sanding - they are smooth as ****.
And yeah we vaselined the tires because the tape wouldnt stick - It only took 3 days to wear off.

We had a blankie
Materials used...
Duplicolor Gunmetal for Wheels
Duplicolor Clear Coat for Wheels
Aircraft Remover and 100 to 400 Grit Sandpaper
And most importantly ... adhesive promoter (like a primer)

the vaseline is a good idea, however did spin off onto the car itself?
friend of mine picked up notecards and threw about 20 around each tire when he did his wheels. same outcome though, a nicely painted wheel!
good job

Sorry man, some of us don't have boat loads of cash to spend on wheels. The whole thing probably cost like $10 and there's nothing wrong with some good ole manual labor. They look great in person, when you get the chance DG take some pics in the sun. They look way better than stock.
