KYB go with Koni or Tein but you have already done it. I have a buddy with them and his car rides like **** compared to my other friend with Koni Yellows. Just my opinion though

Odd, I have Tein-S techs on KYB AGX's and my car rides and handles WAY better than my buddy's RSX-S on Progress Springs and Koni Yellows. In fact, every set of Yellows I've ever installed have leaked within a month.

3f 4r

but my rears have lost alot of damping,
too much riding around on bumpstops,

I got some benen extended strut mounts and other work too to eleviate the problem, but the damage was done(rode around like that for almost a year).

the agx's are good, just dont bottom out on them too much.

1. Were your friends shocks KYB "AGX" or not?
2. How EXACTLY does it ride like ****? Please discribe, inorder to validate your opinion.

I have KYB AGX shocks on my car and I like the ride that they provide. It was a good choice at a descent price. I also, like the adjustability.

one has KYB reds with skunk2 and the other has koni with ground control and the koni ride so much better in my opinion. I have ground control on stock struts and it rides better than my friend's KYB w/ Skunk2 but his is an 97 accord and mines a 98 civic if that could make a difference. most accords ride nicer but don't handle as well.....once again I was only stating my opinion. so you guys have KYB AGX struts and they ride nice then for you.

don't be making such blind statements

No need to give KYB a , when they are a great company and AGX's are a great shock...especially for the money. I'm rocking AGX front and Koni Yellow rear...lol

I've had my AGX's for a little over a year and I have had 0 problems and I love the ride!

Around town I usually keep them pretty stiff 3-4f 6-7r and if I go on a trip or something I do the 1f 3r so the interstate "bumps" are smoothed out.

I've got a generic ebay tiebar in the rear with my AGX's set at 1F 4R with tire pressure of 32F 40R and my understeer is about 95% eliminated. Tire pressure goes a LONG way towards helping you handle.

my agx's are set on 2f and 2 rear, although the adjuster thingy on my back right is pretty broke and it might be set on 3. i really like the ride. ive been dropped 2.5 on them for like 20,000 miles and i have had no real problems.

Ive had Koni's for around 7 months now, not a leak at all. I have knoi yellows w/ H&R sport springs, I wouldn't trade them for the world!
