Default disapointing dyno run

First off, this was the dyno day in Bellingham, WA at Meridian Performance Services on the 29th of November.
I let the car cool down and then put her on the dyno about 45 min. - 1 hour later. I recently had my valve adjustment, fuel filter replaced, radiator flush, and an oil change less than 1000 miles ago. Forgot to do the plugs.
My engine mods for my '00 with 33k are:
Comptech CAI
JDM DC ceramic 4-1
Carsound cat
DC b-pipe
Spoon N1 axleback

The first run was with the silencer in and the second run was without the silencer. Surprisingly, just losing the silencer gained 4hp!! Anyway, here's my graph.

I would think my car would put more down at the wheel and I don't think it's just the spark plugs. I had Emerika do a compression test for me and it was 210-215 all across the board. (thanks dude )

Also, yay or nay on these plugs? Installed them as soon as I finished washing the car after I got home. I'm talking about the Bosch Platinums. (edit: pic removed)
edit: Oh, one more mod. I ran into the old owner of the car and he said that the timing was advanced, but I forgot to what extent. (I didn't have prior knowledge about timing)

I was thinking about doing cap + rotor, but aren't my numbers still low? Oh, I'll probably switch to NGK's after reading some posts about spark plugs.

What other cars dynoed there? It is more accurate to compare with other cars there at the same day then compare to people on the internet that dynoed in completely different situations.

How does the car feel?

Check the timing, maybe he retarded it by accident (dont know how though...). For reference I put down 170hp---121tq on a dynojet with an Injen cold air.

I thought Meridian had a Dyno-jet?? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm thinking of ISA in Bellvue.

Get your timing checked first! That can make a big power difference - esp if it's we todd did.

Then change plugs.

I have to recommend Denso Iridium plugs, I don't think I'll ever run anything else (except for maybe the Spoon plugs). NGK Iridium's are also pretty kick-***.

iam the old owner ,timing was set by Acura at 18 btdc. within factory specs.should have helped it not hurt it. Also it was a dyno jet . my 00 b16 swap stock intake with comptech header and world sport put down 147hp ,104 trg. My .02 is whoever did your valve adjustment f--ked something up, other R swaps were putting down 175 -188 hp with bolt -ons.also when i owned the car it ran a 14.52 at 97 so the power was there.good luck solving the problems David. let me know how it turns out. basic tune-up will help but not with a 25 hp difference.

The dyno at Meridian is a dyno jet. Also, the fan they used up front was only about 2-2.5 ft in diameter.
I can't remember all the numbers that other cars put down, but there was a B16 in an EK with comptech header and world sport exhaust that put down 145. Also, there was a D16 with apexi turbo running 5psi that put down 135. Other than that, I can't remember any of the other cars. Where could I get my timing checked and should I put the timing back to stock settings? Is it possible to check the timing with a closed-end valve cover? TIA.

edit: editted the mods of GRAVEDIGGER's car.

The dyno runs state Actual horsepower, and not SAE corrected power. Ask the shop if they can e-mail you the runviewer files and you can look at them yourself, and you can change it to SAE corrected power.

you can check timing on your car no problem, valve cover has nothing to do with it. do you have a helms or chiltons manual? if not run it by Acura they adjusted it for free for me.

i do remember hearing Emerika say that the numbers were uncorrected and that the numbers are probably lower. anyway, i read about some ignition timing threads in the ITR forum and it seems like i may be losing a few HP due to the advanced timing. i think for now i will set it back to 16BTDC, put it on the dyno, and go from there to see if it's necessary to advance the timing. hopefully, i'll get some good numbers next time.

any thoughts anybody?

By chance, Was it a Hot day? or Was the Correction factor manually entered?

None of the numbers that day were corrected. As Crescent told me that day, the correction factor was 0.96

So to get your SAE output, it would be 157 x 0.96 = 150.7

for comparison purposes, there were several other cars whose results I can remember.

the white EG coupe had a JDM 98spec B18C-R, stock, with only exhaust and that motor did 184hp (uncorrected)

there was a black 96+ coupe with B18C5 i think, just intake and exhaust, and some tuning I think, also around 182-184hp uncorrected

and a RSX Type S with only AEM V2 intake did 176 uncorrected.
