from my knowledge, all you gotta do is remove the nuts for each of the linkage parts...slip the bushings off, put some lube on the ES and slip that on...put the nuts back on..and youre set.

Just make sure you have some WD-40, PB Blaster or the like. I also had to (barely) pinch the end which one of the bushings goes onto.

Jack car up and support with jack-stands.

front bushing (round one)
-using a 12mm socket... loosen and remove the bolt holding the shifter arm to the transmission.
-remove washer (noting the position) and the bushing/arm.
-remove bushing from arm... install new one.
-put arm back on the transmission along with the washer (the correct way)
-refasten the 12mm bolt to hold everything together.

Rear bushing (long one)
-using a 12mm scocket with extensions/swivels... remove the 2 bolts holding the factory bushing to the underside of the car.
-move the exhaust piping out of the way if required.
-remove the metal tab that goes covers the factory bushing and slide the bushing off of the shifter arm (towards the rear of the car).
-lube (if required) the new bushing and push (with much force) it onto the shifter arm.
-place metal tab back in the same position then install both 12mm bolts.

A 10 min. job once the car is in the air.
Make sure to torque the fasteners back to the same torque as they were before you removed them. Having the shifting linkage fall off is a bad thing.

and push (with much force) it onto the shifter arm.
i'll second that. it's also quite an awkward thing to do, as there's not a lot of room for your hands to work in there.

the front bushing required a bit of force, too. but it was easier than the rear.
