There is no such thing as a "RSX Type R".
There is a DC5 Integra Type R in Japan, but no equivalent has made it across the pond.

I was about to say, what the hell is an RSX Type R? No such animal here...Our cars have real names, no alphanumeric b.s. names

i live in vegas, and travel to So. Cal quite often, or (used to) and seen a DC5 Integra-R on i-15 near the San Diego turn off. this DC5R had a shitload of electronic/computers hooked up to it, and had an Odessy infront, and back of him.
i wasn't actually driving this time out so i couldn't stop exactly what i was doing/going and follow it. i had like 3-4 dreams about it in the 2 months following what i saw. definatly RHD 100%
after seeing this i couldn't help to think that they were doing tests to try and bring it here. just my opinion though

You might want to know that Option Magazine, Best Motoring, Honda, and a whole host of other companies like to do photo shoots and filming in southern California because the weather is always pretty good down there. Those cars are there on a temporary license to do the business, and then they are either garaged locally or shipped back to Japan...I seriously doubt that the States have any plans to bring the 2nd gen R there, at least not anytime soon.

If you already own a RSX, goto EBAY and buy a "type-r" sticker then put it on your car. Thousands of honda/acura owner had done this to make their car become the next "R"
If you don't have a rsx.....you need to goto Acura dealer first.

I especially like the non-Honda Type R's out there, such as my favorite the first generation Probe Type R.

Its only a matter of time before the Civic and Integra(RSX) Type-R's make it over here. Anyone here knows the newest Civic Si doesn't compete with the rest of its competition? Honda/Acura's are getting eaten up by the competition for something they had a huge role in starting. Just a matter of time. Maybe next year? or the year after. It'll be here eventually.
