was thinking of putting some 16 flat black rota slipstreams on my 98 civic.
how do they look in your opinions and how do they perform after time.

if you want lite wheels, then get them.. I think they look cool too. I'm thinking of getting a set for my 92 teal hatch

lol, they're wheels.....and very inexpensive at that! Plus they're pretty light. I've had them.

For the price, you can't beat it.

If YOU think they look good, get them. Who cares what anybody else thinks?

"Worth the money?" They're really inexpensive. In most cases, they're cheaper than a set of OEM Honda wheels - and lighter than any OEM Honda wheels too, so sure, they're worth it. Hence the reason everyone and their brother has them

Unless you specifically want the 15x7 size, you may want to consider some other Rota designs though - I'm sure we're all sick of seeing Slipstreams.

Yeah...usually if you don't live in a big city you won't see slipstreams. They rule HT land, but you'll probably get madd props in your small town if you got em...

Everyone loveeeeessssssssssss Rota's here cause it's cheap, light weight and very affordable. I'd get c8's instead of slip though.

What do I know though, I have ITR wheels y0!

hell yes circuit 8's are the tight... royal gunmetal with polished lip or bronze slip streams in flat black are pimp and i believe they just came out with circuit 10's (the rip of the mugen mf10's!) rota is definately good quality, light weight, inexpensive wheel, no matter what style you get! (Just make sure you dont get them wrapped in Nittos like i did!!!) Falken Azenis would be my recomendation

how are the slips with durability? do they bend easy- cause the roads around here suck. i dig the lightweight aspect of them, but i would probably have them powdercoated another color like bronze or gunmetal cause i kinda dont like the way flat black looks on my black car...

you wouldn't have to powdercoat them yourself, they already sell them in gunmetal and bronze. get the mugen tnr replicas from rota. (i think that's the name?) the look much better

they also won't fit over the calipers.. HX wheels are like 11 lbs and fit over most calipers.

As for slipstreams, I live in columbus and have not seen very many cars with them. Besides, mine are white.

They are light and cheap. Get them if you like them.
