I've been searching throught this site for FAQ on LSD's in both the YS1 and Y80/S80 trannies, and I found this under google. I'm planning on getting the OEM ITR LSD for both trannies. I'm still contemplating on the higher end LSD's. This maybe old news to most of you, but after my 4 days of research on LSD's this has pretty much asnwered most of my questions. Pretty much on all the other posts about LSD's they pretty much say you have to use the same style bearings that it came with, now I think it's really debatable.

Please excuse me if this is old, but trying to keep the other folks informed as well. If anyone has first hand experience please state your Pro's and Con's. This will greatly be appreciated! Should I stick with the tapered or convert to ball bearings (since ball bearing don't require preload, just shimming)? This link does make ALOT of sense!
