Default My question about axles

Im making about 180horses to the wheels.
I have Si motor and tranny
My driver's axle is going and I was wondering if anyone could answer a few of my questions:

Are all B series axles the same.
Will the Acura axles fit my 99 Si, will it even make a difference?

Yup any b seires will work. dss, gator racing, tci, and enjo are some good aftermarket alternatives if you would want to go that route.

Are they all the same performance wise?
Will GSR or Type-R be better, or exactly the same?

A lot depends on the setup, the ride height of your car, clutch/flywheel, and lsd(in your case if you plan on getting an lsd) Slammed car+ lotta neg camber = broken axles aftermarket or stock.
Also wheel hop causes broken axles as well, I don't remember if you had a hop problem in your car but maybe youd want to alleviate other problems before upgrading to aftermarket axles.
Aftermarket axles will be stronger but remember that just moves the weak link of your drivetrain from the axles to your diff or transmission. Axles are cheaper to replace.

I know your car isnt super low, and am unsure about your camber and wheelhop but if none of the above are problems then maybe you should consider aftermarket axles. If any of the above are problems I would try and fix those first before gettin aftermarket axles.

Good info but I still got one more question that wasn't answered.
Are the GSR axles stronger. I donno if they're the same exact ones as mine (99 Si) but since it is a Honda it would be no suprise to use the exact same ones.
Basically I dont think I'll be going with aftermarket axles but if a Type-R or GSR ones are better...possibly?
Thanks.

Im not 100% sure on this but I think they are all about the same as far as strength. The differences lie in the length, what intermediate or halfshaft you have. If I'm off on this anyone feel free to correct me.

..and d series axles are different

Yea they should hold up, but what Im asking is are there DIFFERENCES between the 99-00 SI and 94+ GSR axles performance wise.
