hey guys im doing a install on my d16y8..and the stock injects are to big and will not fit in the hole...any ideas? the guy who sold me the supercharger doesnt really know what it would fit eh? anyway...i have y8 injectors...i looked at some LS injectors and they look like the same... do u know if the 92-97 vtec/non vtec are the same size?

Injectors should fit fine... what did the supercharger come off of?

 

All d series should be the same.

all the guy said was it came off of a SOHC...he wont talk to me anymore...so im not sure wut it comes off of...
my injectors are to big to fit int he supercharger... this is killin me! are all SOHC injectors the same?

the part in the red, is to fat to fit into the supercharger, u can fit part below it in let it go and it just falls out!

 

does the manifold still have to black rubber seals in?

If so, dremel them out. They'll fit then.

 

thats a possiblity, but if i dremel it out, and the injector goes in...and doenst stop..then it wont be sealed...understand? hard to explain..

 

uhmm. that part in the red square is not where the injector seals, its below that, the slimmer part. That part sticks out.

you probably have to take the seals from the old mani and put them in the new one or buy new ones.

 

right below the red there is a seal...it doesnt go far enough in the supercharger.

 

I had a similiar problem, I double stacked the black O-ring washers. I don't know it not double stacking would be okay, but it did not seem very secure to me. You might have a different problem though, because it sounds like you're saying your injectors are too big to fit in the manifold all together?

 

Hmmm, He's right. That part doesn't go in. You may have to find some decent seals that will work. But the fuel rail will help it stay in place. Just make sure it seals.

 

i can make the fuel fit, ill have to drill and use a custom backet or something
