i have a 95' civic coupe, and my left lightbulb in the climate control keeps on blowing out. i recently changed all of them to amber and it was fine, and then it blew, so i replaced it. and a couple of days ago, when i turned on my lights, i only saw that the right one was working. why does it keep on blowing out? is there a way to fix this problem?
Hey Ricey....
anyhoo....I have the same problem but my interior lights will go out when the left bulb goes out. If I tap the climate control ALL my interior lights come back on. None of the other lights....like taillights or headlights are affected by this.

I've had my climate control out and taken it completely apart. Coud'nt find any shorts in it, but it has to be a short somewhere.

EDIT: Could be a bad fuse or relay.....it is possible....by bad fuse I mean one that has not gone but is going.

It could be in your case, but for the rest of us it's just one bulb that is running off of the same circuit board as the other, so no.

You lucky BASTARDS...it sucks at night when you are just chillin down the darkest roads in Cecil Country Maryland and the interior lights are like "I'll be back...going to get a soda...in Montana"....bastards.

Yeah that's how mine does. I feel for you though man. I would check all the interior light fuses.
Does it just happen when it's cold??

Mine happens whenever it feels like going for a soda in Montana...which is cold, hot, luke warm...you get the idea.

i don't know, didn't pay attention, but the left bulb just blew out a couple days ago, (for the 4th time!!)
and now, i don't feel like taking apart the climate control, just to change a damn little bulb

my bulbs all work, but in my climate control, my left bulb has always been out, my right bulb as well, they dont affect any other lights, BUT if i tap my climate control sometimes my right bulb will come on, its weird, i never took it apart before

yup a couple of bulbs in my 96 climate control are doing the same thing, i'm guessing a couple of the filaments in the bulbs are loose. i'm too lazy to take apart half the interior just to change a couple bulbs though. i had the same problem in my hatch in the cluster, a tap or a bump in the road would make the bulbs go on/off. a couple new bulbs later, viola.

wow so many ppl with this problem. well count me in too...both civics i've owned had this problem. maybe it was just an old bulb and i was too lazy to take off the interior.
