JDM side marker install... did a search but....
I just got JDM side markers for my birthday from my bf and I was wondering, from yals past experience is it worth the hassle (and risk) to do it yourself, or would it be MUCH wiser to take it somewhere and get them to install (atleast just cut the holes) them?
I've searched and read write-ups on HOW to do it but I was wondering if anyone who has done it before would do it differently if they could again?
Sorry if this has been asked before, my flame suit is nice and zipped up, but I just need some suggestions.

One of my friends did it, and they turned out fine, just remember the old saying.
"measure twice, cut once"
Also, I can't remember where, but some site had a diagram that you could glue to your fender and use as a template, i think it was jdmfan.com, but they are down, so I don't know.

i've done it to a bunch of cars...main thing is be careful and take your time.but-bottom line-if you don't feel comfortable, take it somewhere to be done.it'd be a lot cheaper to pay somebody to install the sidemarkers than to buy two new fenders and pay somebody to paint them, fit them,THEN install the sidemarkers after you messed it up the first time
i just use a Dremel with a fiber cut-off wheel.you can buy a Dremel kit at Wal-Mart for about $50.a good investment as it has a million uses.
