JDM B18C oil pump = US B18C1 oil pump?
I got my oil pump from Prodrive on friday, it is for a B18C1. I have a B18C oil pump/block...but it doesnt fit. The US B18C1 is too small. WTF? Further set backs are too common...ahhh?
Thanks for your help

Here is a pic. What about the JDM B18C type-R? I am still not too sure that this is a Type-R block or GSr.

I Just replaced my complete Oil pump Due to the same problem I hav when I rebuilt my engine...I believe the older gears or some us models were 80mm and the newer ones are 84mm...use the Bigger One if you can... Does the Old pump housing have provisions for OBD2 or is it a OBD1 pump..?? here take a look at these 2 pics' they are the 84mm ones From Spoon ..ya can't get the gears from them any more but they do sell a compleate pump for 190$ with the gear inside the new housing..
WTF? 190 complete with the housing? Spoon is know for all motor stuff. I am going to boost like 28psi...I need a pump to handle like 500hp.

12,000 rpm or 28psi what difference does it make the motor will only see the rpms....
That's why the gear inside the Oil pump housing is made out of some strong *** stainless
