Hallo,

can someone tell me how many power the parts of a stock b16a1 engine can handle without problems?

i.e. pistons = xxx hp, block=xxx hp

or is there a good book i can buy what can answer me this questions?

you might be over doing it (400hp)then. but i could be wrong.

 

400 will need c16 and perfect tuning, i would just be happy with 300 stock block...300whp in a light car seems like nothign due to all these 500whp cars on
H-T, but it is plenty for the street. Also keep in mind alot of these stock block cars with over 300whp run a thicker headgasket and Headstuds.

 

251 whp @ 10 psi - no problem at all.
