I had someone try to follow me home last night
Since the recent rash of thefts, I've been makeing sure no one is following me to my neighborhood when I drive the R. Last night, I noticed a "ricer" car take particular notice of me and proceed to follow. He was trying to be inconspicuous, but I tracked him in my rearview mirror hanging back for a few miles. Maybe it was coincidental, but thought I'd let you guys know and remind you to be on the lookout.
(I lost him quite easily in the R)

Stories Like this make me want to Install one of those James Bond Oil Slick kits on the rear of My car
But yes I know how you feel I have had a few people follow me, But i just lose them. Thieves suck

Lock your **** or block it in at night. its a sign, the ******* that took my car, attempted the night before and the next night they suceeded.
HELPFUL HINT ( that will it make alittle more difficult to steal):
steering wheel fully turned with the club, so if they try to roll your car, it will a be hard task ahead. i think thats how they took my baby w/o a sound.(i had the alarm, kill switches, lojack, and fuel cut off and still gone, the thing i didn't do, turn my steering wheel all the way.)
Doesn't matter what you have for anti-theft in your ride, if they want it they will take, so make it more difficult.

Heres a little tip. If you can do this it will make stealing the car a pain in the ***
My driveway is a 2 car wide by 6 car long driveway with a fence in front and on the right side of the driveway and a house on the left side.
Park the car sideways so its going accross the way you would normally park, it takes me about a 7 point turn to achieve this.
Then block the car in with 2 cars 1 in each lane parked close to the car.
The thieves would have to break into and move the 2 cars, then break into yours do the 7 point turn and get out of the driveway.

I park mine in the garage. For those of you who have no room in the garage
or don't have a grage, there are two options worth considering.1) Build an R garage (<$600 for material from HomeDepot I have the plans)
2) Buy a car trailer and boot it to a Hilti anchor. $$$$ but neat for taking it to the track.
Later dooods...

Mike: I've done that trick before, but its a pain in the *** when you have to move cars in the morning. Oh well, if it prevents the car from getting stolen, its worth it.
If you have a wireless home alarm system you can add the car zone to the "stay" mode.

Mike: Or just use go jacks to queitly and quickly move the two cars and yours, still sideways even to the street, then it's lined up perfect for the tow truck. I'll give you this, it'll take a good 3 minutes to steal it instead of 1...
THE CLUB....man every thief in the world carries a bottle of freon. Sheesh I don't even use my Club anymore, its only gonna delay them a couple of seconds.
Layer the security crap on
The longer it takes, the more of a pain to steal. If you didn't have the Freon, then it's to prevent on the non Freon stealers from joyriding or whatever. Using only the club doesn't help, just a deterrant. As always, if they want it, they'll get it. I just like to make it harder for them
-AoiB0t, who doesn't know where to get Freon.

last I checked Jeff, you can't get someone arrested for driving down the same roads that you happen to be driving on. Sure, the cops MIGHT pull them over because it's suspicious, but unless they have something in their car/have warrants/etc they wont be arrested.

freon is cold. it can freeze stuff like metal. personally, I think I'd just carry around a battery powered saw and just cut the steer wheel by the club, but that's just me.
