Default Is the RSX type S a good buy?

Is the RSX type S a better vehical to have as opposed to the 99-00 si or the 03 si or any other compact cars out there today?

Well It depend what you can get the car for. Think of it this way if you pay 23k for the types and 16k for the 03 si you can get a type-s swap for 4.5k and you saved 2.5k in your pocket

been driving my type s for 2 weeks now and I dont have any complaints. Much better car then my integra ls. the type s hauls *** and I think it looks way better then the new si. It all depends on personal prefernce though.

If you cant get a type-s swap for 4.5 then there is somthing wrong since the type-r swap is only 5.5-6k with everything.

check around. ive heard them get as low as 3k add another 500 - 1000 for install and you're set. Of course a type S has better brakes and it has climate control and a warranty.
