Default Major Problem ... Please help (Brakes)

Hey everyone, hope u had a good thanksgiving!

I have a big problem with my brakes and I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice.

I have a 1999 Civic Ex Coupe and I replaced the front brakes w/ the AEM Big Brake Kit.

In the past two weeks or so, every time I step on the Brakes, my steering wheel shakes very bad and it feels like my cars all jacked up.

What do u guys think it is? Please give suggestions on how to fix it...

Thanks

Sounds like your rotors are "warped." Did you bed them in correctly? Give it a couple weeks and see if they "even" out.

its been like this for 2 years and no problems.... but now w/ the AEM kit

any of you guys have the AEM kit and having problems?

I actually had a shop install them for me... I got them put on about 1-2 months ago. I haven't had any problems, but now I do.... I also got the AEM brake pads and I noticed that they Squeek also! I'm pissed cause its suppose to be an upgrade, not a degrade to the car..

What should I do, just keep driving and see if they get better?

Thanks

A bad alignment won't cause vibrations under braking.

Take it to a reputable shop and have them look at the brakes.

And the squeaking is because the pads have better stopping power.
