Which precsion for my setup? SC-32 or SC-34???? (researched tons)!
Ok this will be my setup:
Precision SC-32 or 34
The rest is eitehr a sparksracing kit(except the manifold in which i would get a inlinepro) or a revhard s2 kit...
Hondata s100B
STock internals!!(many people do not read this and tell me oh sure go with realllly high boost, in which i cant do that)
probably some fi fities( aka 550cc injectors haha)
Goals: I want to achieve over 300whp but not at that high boost. This will be used for street only( by this i eman daily driven and a few races on the street). I want it to spool quickly but still have soem gas up top for the highway.
So i know that i will get the .63 A/R what i need to know is which turbo SC-32 or 34 and what size trim. Thanks Alot b/c i will be buying my setup this christmas and this question will complete the kit!!!

to be honest just go with the rev hard stage 2 kit and you should be happy.
im will be run the almost same setup
but with more toys
B18C fully built w/lsd
eagle rods
je pistons 9:1
type r cams
450cc injec.
kms valve tran
hondata S200b
rev hard stage 2
etc.......
and im looking for about 450hp!

Nah im definately going with the one of the two SC's so if somebody could help me choose the right one that would be great b/c its the last thing on my decision. And to rocket256...i dont have enough money to do what you have done with your engine plus you have a b18c with lsd i jsut gotta stock b16a2. Later down the road i will do work on the head and internals which is why i want to go with one of the precisions...leaning towards the SC-34 right now because i would liek to use this turbo in the future w/ higher hp number around 400, right now 300 will have to do though. Keep the replies coming, thanks!

SC34 is an awesome turbo. I would run that over an SC32 for sure. The Compressor wheel is much nicer.
I would also reccomend the Revhard kit over the Spark Racing kit. Revhard uses top quality parts and pays alot of attention to details. where as the spark kit uses parts like this- https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=685923

i think revhard kits come with precision turbos...also if your running stock internals and want 300+whp it is prolly safer to run more boost with conservative timing than it is to run less boost with aggressive timing to get 300whp.
sweet, so sc-34 it is. Im sure the 32 will do just fine but the 34 works out better in the long run...ok so i was probably gonna go with the revhard kit anyway but for the turbo: Precision SC-34 .63A/R...what about the trim though?, or does it make THAT much of a difference

are u talking about compressor trim? because the SC34 comes w/ a 57 trim compressor wheel. Thats what makes it the SC34.

yup, sounds like a good plan to me!

Is there a Precision That is a little better on top but still spools pretty quickly, kinda like the best of both worlds or am I being to greedy? haha
I'm starting to read all these stories about the SC-61 getting full boost by 4000-4500 at about 10-15 psi and it makes me wonder if i should just go with the SC-61. Therefore i woudln't have to get another turbo again, have very nice power up top and good on bottom...but will it really spool that fast? I will get the displacement up in a year and build the block up which will help, but like i said that'll be in a year probably. What do yall Thnk?

yeh it spools pretty fast on a 2.0L GSR. If you don't get it now you will always wonder what kinda power you woulda made had you gone w/ the SC61.

Yeah, you will feel it up top.....

Look at this thread. Ryan put the psi wrong. I was 8psi, crept to 9psi, Jasons was 9psi crept to 10psi. I could have went more, but stopped, all I wanted was 300hp. I also have a USDM GSR vs Jasons JDM GSR,his has a little higher compression.
On my 140,000 mile motor I made 303fwhp. On spring only, 7psi with creep to 8psi, it made 286fwhp with the air filter behind the fan. With a cold air pipe, made 294fwhp at same boost. Everything is stock, except 3" piping and 3" magnaflow, Hondata, 550's. I it full boost at 4k rpms. And this is the Rev Hard cast manifold, not tubular. Jay has Full Race with SC 63 turbo, will make sick power at higher boost.
The SC34 will be good to the 400-450whp range.

I clicked on that link and the guy said the SC34 spooled at around 4800 and ive heard many stories stating that the SC-61 hit full boost at 4800-5000. But then again i'm only using this for street so maybe my head is getting too big and I need to come back to earth with a 44 or 34??? Thanks for the help guys, and especialy to Mike!

Yea thats it I'm whipped hahaha....
ANYWAYS, Reily, i was not referring to your post about the 4800 spool i was talkin bout the thread that you posted, it's just that everybody makes different spool times i guess. The REASON i was still thinking about the SC-61( as i stated before
) is because 1) i would probably not have to get another turbo 2) ive heard of spool times as low as 4800, so no I am not whipped just curious and 3) some people say that the SC34 will have good top power some say it doesn't, it just seems that almost everyone has the same opinion about the SC61 or close to it, and i get more mixed reviews on the others. Oh well Still thinking thanks guys!

I also have an sc34 and im really happy w/ it. I start building boost at like 3k and hit full boost around 4k. Top end does not fall off at all. If you want more than 400 id go with the sc61 otherwise get the sc34.
