..after reading this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=687842 ,figured i'd post this.....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=5335
this thing cracked me up!
it obviosuly has 4 lug sus,EG seats, the front bumper has been repainted(notice EVERYTHING is painted),looks to have maybe an OBDO intake mani,etc....
obviously a theft recovery considering it's missing every "R" component(drievtrain,suspension,shift ****,floormats,seats,etc.)
it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but in the description they keep ranting about how wonderful the engine is and even the shift ****(that isn't there!):
"The shifter is one of the best in the industry, with a shape that fits the hand perfectly and a relatively short throw between gears. The 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine is equipped with variable valve timing (Honda's VTEC system) and produces 195 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 130 foot-pounds of torque at 7,500 rpm. This is 55 more horsepower than the 1.8-liter engine used in the Integra LS and 25 more than the Integra GS-R. To achieve the extra power, Acura equips the Type R engine with a larger diameter exhaust system, a freer-flowing air intake, an extensively modified cylinder head with hand-polished intake and exhaust ports, and special pistons and connecting rods. An aluminum oil cooler is added to maximize heat dissipation and thermal efficiency"
i emailed them just to try to see if they even realize what's going on.somebody who doesn't know any better could very well lose their *** buying this car, thinking they can put a little money into it and have a nice ITR.
