Default When swapping is it necessary to get the following......?

I was just told recently that If I get a SI rear mount bracket, I need the SI shift linkage. If I get a Del-Sol rear mount bracket I need the Del-sol linkage(which before I was told that it won't work.), and if I get the GSR rear mount bracket I need the GSR shift linkage.... Is any of this true? or will I be fine with just a b-series shift linkage?

Preferably need answers from people that did the swap them-selves.

Thanx.

in my 97 civic I got the rear SI bracket and used the GSR linkage. I'm pretty sure any B series linkage will work no matter what bracket you use.

That's not true. The only car that you can use the Del Sol shift linkage in is a Del Sol, which in turn the Del Sol linkage won't work in any other car's. If you are swapping a B series into a 92-00 Civic or 94-01 Integra you can use the 99-00 Civic Si or 94-01 Integra (any model) shift linkage.
For the rear bracket, if you are swapping a B series into a 96-00 Civic then you need the 99-00 Si rear bracket and driver's side engine bracket. If you are swapping a 92-95 Civic or 94-01 Integra then you will need the 94-01 Integra rear bracket and driver's side engine bracket.
