Default OT: Mitsubishi unveils new Lancer WRC

http://www.mitsubishi-motors.c....html

and sweet wallpapers: http://www.mitsubishi-motors.c....html

It's based on the Lancer, not the EVO...and in a field of cars equipped with electronic shifting dog box transmissions it has a 5 speed manual transmission, and mechanical diffs.

Making the wing bigger is ok in my book because they put nice tailights in the car instead of the tezzas

Ah it may be ugly but it serves a purpose. Just be glad the didn't strap on a big adjustable aluminum wing on it with a big Type-R sticker on the side. I like it.

MMSP spent almost three weeks testing in the Lola racing team’s wind tunnel, re-designing the bonnet, along with the front and rear wings, as well as the rear aerofoil. The first priority was to gain more down force, but close attention was also paid to airflow through the engine bay to maximize cooling. It is a perfect illustration of the strenuous yet conflicting demands that the World Rally Championship imposes. Down force is a vital element of a competitive car on high-speed rallies</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'd say the wing is there for more reasons than looks...

Yeah...they aren't in it to "look cool"

Look at the Impreza WRC and Focus WRC wings...

that wing is mild compared to some of the wings in motorsports. when it comes to racing, who cares about wing size.
