whats an h22 stock bore in inches
i think its 87mm, but what does that convert to in inches, thats all we have to measure it with. The sleeved block i bought is supposed to be standard bore, jsut wanna make sure before i order pistons
Dude, learn how to use the internet. Use Google for crying out loud. "unit conversion mm" And if you still can't figure it out, look at a ruler, most have both mm AND inches. And I'm not going to just tell you... why? Read this.
"Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him a lifetime."
"Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him a lifetime."
Helms has nothing to do with it. It's simply a units thing. Oh hell, here, I'll spoon feed you because you're too damn lazy. 25.4mm = 1.000 inches.
And you best be carefull about name calling. Since you wouldn't figure it out yourself, and since I gave you the answer, does that mean you're going to come back here EVERY time you have a units conversion? There's a lot of units out there so I guess you'll be calling a lot of people dicks then.

regardless you shouldn't just order pistons to 87mm
You should measure each cylinder on the inside with that whatever it's called in 3 places to determine the width of the cylinder, and figure out wat piston diameters you need given the piston to wall clearance you are shooting for. I wouldn't just measure the tops with a ruler, say it's hmm 87mm and buy pistons. Especially if you are buying OEM, there are A and B options.
Is it sleeved?

i got 3.42 inches.....satan is right though..measure each bore individually to see what it is...and order pistons accordingly....or re-sleeve it..and bore it to 89mm(88.9mm) which is 3.5"and pistons are a little easier to find at 3.5" if you want to order good cheap forged pistons from like scummit or jegs...but honda oem are top notch..rings too!
